Taught by Carl E. Long, Hanshi/SoShihan

Tessen: A traditional Japanese war fan; it was used in war as a signaling device.  Tessen' came in many different sizes, shapes, and materials.  Many of them were made of metal, and sturdy enough to fight with.  We will be learning the techniques that were made for the tessen.

Hojo-jutsu: Also known as Nawajutsu, is the traditional Japanese Martial Art of restraining with a cord or rope.
